Vonisha’s skill development programs equip individuals, particularly women and youth, with practical training for sustainable livelihoods. Through TailorMade and similar initiatives, we provide skill-based education in tailoring, financial literacy, and other vocational pursuits. These programs empower beneficiaries with self-confidence, independence, and the tools to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

TailorMade
TailorMade is designed to empower underprivileged women by providing professional tailoring training. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, participants build confidence, gain practical skills, and secure pathways to sustainable income. This initiative enables women from marginalized communities to become economically self-reliant and support their families since 2022.

ProjectSakhi
Project Sakhi is dedicated to empowering marginalized women through capacity building, financial literacy, health and hygiene education, and community development. In November 2023, Vonisha engaged with groups of women from South Bangalore's urban slums, many of whom are mothers and caregivers to children attending Vonisha’s Learning Centre. Through weekly group sessions facilitated by our social worker and collaborative partners, these women—often daily wage laborers and house helps—receive essential training and resources that foster self-reliance and support their role as key stakeholders in their children's education.
