TailorMade
TailorMade is Vonisha Service Foundation’s skill development program designed to empower underprivileged women by providing professional tailoring training. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, participants build confidence, gain practical skills, and secure pathways to sustainable income. This initiative enables women from marginalized communities to become economically self-reliant and support their families since 2022.
Empowering Women Through Tailoring for Livelihood and Self-Reliance
Many women in underserved communities face significant economic vulnerability, with limited resources and unstable income sources, often relying on daily wages that do not provide financial security. Without access to professional training, they lack the skills needed to secure meaningful employment, keeping them in a cycle of poverty and dependence. The TailorMade program addresses these challenges through a four-month intensive tailoring course, offered at centers in Doddathoguru, Veer Sandra, and Hulimangla near Electronic City, Bengaluru. The curriculum is designed to equip participants with both basic and advanced tailoring skills, from stitching fundamentals to garment construction, providing them with the expertise needed to build sustainable livelihoods and achieve economic self-reliance. Your donation to the TailorMade program will provide essential resources for underprivileged women, including high-quality training materials, skilled instructors, and a supportive learning environment. This program empowers women with tailoring skills that pave the way to economic independence and self-reliance. Every contribution brings us closer to transforming lives, helping women support their families and build a brighter future. Together, we can create lasting change for women who need it most.
