My experience of working with underprivileged children for the past 4 years at Vonisha Service Foundation has been nothing short of amazing. These children face numerous obstacles in their lives, often growing up without the love and affection that many of us take for granted. Despite these challenges, they are incredibly intelligent and full of potential. What they truly need is guidance and an opportunity to shine. If we can show them love and provide proper guidance, they have the ability to achieve their goals and transform their lives.
One of my core beliefs is that education provides them with the wings to soar. Education and knowledge are the keys to changing their future. By offering them access to learning and the tools to grow, we are giving them the opportunity to break free from the cycle of poverty and build a better life.
Working with these children also brings immense satisfaction. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see their growth, not just academically but emotionally and socially as well. This experience has been a two-way street for me—I have grown and groomed myself while helping them. Through the challenges they face, I have learned the importance of patience, empathy, and resilience.
Underprivileged children often go through emotional struggles, including trauma, poverty, and instability. They are also forced to fight for basic needs like food, education, and safety. Unlike us, these children don’t have access to the same resources—good clothes, books, toys, school bags, shoes, and more. This is where we can all make a difference. By donating or contributing whatever we can, we can help make their lives better and bring enormous happiness to their faces.
I truly enjoy and love teaching these children because I know that education has the power to change their lives. If every person receives an education, we can work together to eliminate poverty in our country. The opportunity to make a lasting impact on a child’s future through education is something I deeply cherish.
